French IoT co raises US $21 mln in funding
The French Internet of Things (IoT) startup SIGFOX has raised €15 million (US $21 million) in new funding. SIGFOX is a network operator of sorts, having designed a wireless architecture that’s purely for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications.

Company with focus on Internet of Services interactions emerges from stealth mode
MachineShop, a startup that provides authenticated, metered, and managed APIs for connecting devices to the Internet of Things (IoT), is a two-year-old company, which exited stealth mode on March 20. Its focus now will be on providing what it calls a Services Exchange.
