Eindhoven, The Netherlands, May 10, 2014: Many more companies and speakers working in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT) have confirmed attendance for the forthcoming Internet of Things Event 2014 in The Netherlands. Among those who will be addressing the various workshops at the IOTEvent 2014 are Gilles Thonet, Managing Director, Europe of Zigbee Alliance, who will be making a presentation in which he will discuss the unique technical capabilities of ZigBee, the benefits of global and open standards for corporations and consumers and how ZigBee was touching consumers around the world and preparing the advent of the IoT.
The ZigBee Alliance is an open, non-profit association of members creating global standards that connect an immense range of simple and high-tech devices for consumers and businesses.
Other participants who have confirmed attendance are Daniele Lacamera (Software Architect) and Maxime Vincent (Embedded Software Designer) of TASS Belgium. They will be making a presentation titled: Python Whelp: a micropython based platform for fast prototyping in the Internet of Things.
TASS is a leader in the Benelux region for embedded software in the semiconductors, consumer electronics and healthcare sectors, providing services to blue-chip clients.
The ‘Internet of Things Event’ arranged by the Dutch company Jakajima (www.jakajima.eu) which organises high tech events and conferences in several European countries.
The ‘Internet of Things Event’ is an annual international conference including a seminar, an exhibition area and several workshops held around the emerging field of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The third edition is being held on June 3, 2014.
