RacoWireless’ version 3.0 of M2M device management platform is coming

Provider of wireless solutions to the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) companies, RacoWireless has taken the lid off the fresh version of its Omega Management Suite (OMS) platform, an award-winning device management tool that allows partners to control their connected solutions.

RacoWireless put out a press release in which it’s President John Horn said, “Businesses are demanding new, responsive device management applications that provide the control they need to run their companies. Increasingly, we see the need for managers to have on-demand visibility to their connected devices.”

Omega Management Suite 3.0 delivers some new features to provide enhanced control and leverage the intelligence of managed solutions. These include:

  • Subscriber Insight: This provides high-level intelligence that includes device details, usage records, historical details, billing history and trends. Subscriber Insight gives businesses the quantitative data they need to make better, more informed decisions to improve their solutions.
  • Mobile Support: OMS is built with an intuitive design interface that follows the principles of responsive design. This upgraded design enables users to have optimized visibility on mobile devices as well as full-functionality on computers without the need to download an app.
  • Intuitive Reporting: Providing more flexibility with reporting functions, users will be greeted at login with an intuitive reporting dashboard. Also, using the Report Scheduler, partners can customise and automate the delivery of selected reports.

A little more than a year after winning a Best of 4G Award for “Impactful M2M Application”, the Omega Management Suite was awarded yet again this week at the M2M Evolution Conference’s Battle of the Platforms in Miami, USA as the ‘Best Provisioning Platform’. OMS 3.0 will be publicly released in early March this year.
