Speakers from leading IoT companies confirm participation in IoT conference in Germany

The inaugural, ‘Monetising The Internet of Things’ conference arranged by the global experts in events conception and delivery, the Arena International Events Group, has been attracting a wide variety of speakers.

The two-day conference will take place on October 1 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The IoT Conference offers a platform for discussion and debate with those working in IoT and provides the opportunity to learn how IoT can transform businesses.

The 1st day of the conference will open with a presentation on “Developing the right IoT solution for your business: Piecing together the value chain and determining the best ways IoT can work for you”. This will include:

•Understanding the different players in IoT and using this knowledge to develop a comprehensive IoT solution

•Finding the stand out applications and solutions to best fit your business and its needs

•Determining what options are available to you to bring together your IoT solution, and the best ways to go about achieving this

•Uncovering what is different about the IoT and technological space, and finding out what you need to know to enter this market successfully

•Discussing the best way for your company to act in order to find the right technology as quickly and effectively as possible

The next session will see a discussion on:
Adapting traditional business models: How can pay per use, revenue sharing, and data subscription models enable you to commercialise and profit from IoT?

Under it, the following points will be presented and discussed:

•Assessing the importance of finding the best business model for your company to ensure commercial success in the short and long term

•Evaluating traditional business models and discussing the merits of adapting these models to navigate IoT • Discovering the benefits of traditional business models: pay per use, revenue sharing, and data subscription models, and determining the extent to which each of these can work best for your business

•Summarising the key strategies needed to find the optimal commercial model for your company’s needs

Chairing both sessions will be Jonathan Steel – CEO, CHANGE LONDON.

The rest of the day’s programme will include presentations on:

  • Smart cities around the world: Where and how does IoT fit into the smart city concept?
