India’s Tata Communications Ltd is all set to invest about US $00 million in the the Internet of Things (IoT).
According to a news report filed by Indian news agency Press Trust of India (PTI), the Mumbai-based company has already rolled out its dedicated IoT network in 38 cites across the country, along with a platform to manage the services that supports very low power consumption, he said.
Senior Vice President and Head, Internet of Things, V S Shridhar told PTI that IoT was a serious business and would become a significant revenue line for the firm going forward, Tata Communications.
