One of United Kingdom’s major telecos Vodafone has got on to the Internet of Things (IoT) bandwagon. It’s launched a range of IoT devices under the banner “V by Vodafone.”
Available to Vodafone customers in the UK and a handful of other European countries from today is a car telematics dongle, pet tracker, bag tracker and connected camera, with more products due to join this launch lineup next year.
V-Auto with a V-Sim by Vodafone transforms your car into a smart car. Besides avoiding collisions with other vehicles it also helps track your car.
Another product, the V-camera uses the Arlo Go – a 4G, wirefree and weatherproof camera. Connected with a V-Sim by Vodafone, you can use it outside the home in areas with our network coverage without needing cords, Bluetooth or WiFi.
