Wireless charging for devices: Israel company launches NEST

nestphotoWith the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), it is but obvious that there will soon be a separate market altogether for products and accessories that cater to this field. Products like chargers and bluetooth enabled microphones will soon become a rage.

Perhaps sensing this, an Israel-based tech platform Humavox has already launched a new brand of wireless charging device. The idea is to use radio frequency as the source to wirelessly transfer power.

The designers at Humavox worked on the idea of designing a box that was capable of charging a device for the user as soon as it was placed inside the box. So was born, NEST, based on the concept that wireless charging should beavailable to one and all. NEST is designed to be used with almost all kinds ofelectronic devices across sectors like healthcare, consumer electronics, wearable electronics and of course, IoT. With NEST, product designers can now incorporate constraint-free wireless charging when designing cases, boxes and compartments for new and exciting devices, and enhance its functionality by dismissing power concerns for users. NEST can be customised, adjusted and incorporated into nearly any containing volume, of any shape and size. It will charge any device evenly. So whether it’s tiny, big, complexly shaped, or conservatively designed, NEST fits any device.

It also wirelessly powers devices simultaneously regardless of placement position, orientation and proximity from each other. Users just drop their device in their NEST enabled case.
